Prof Terrence Perera is a well-known academic, researcher and consultant in the area of computer modelling and simulation. He has more than 25 years of experience in developing and delivering research and knowledge transfer projects in a range of industries including, aerospace, automotive, healthcare, food, postal services and logistics/supply chain sectors. His clients include BAE Systems, Siemens, Bosch, Sweden Posten, Sheffield Children Hospital and Fosters Bakery.
Professor Perera is one of the key architects of MSc Logistics and Supply Chain Management course, accredited by the Charted Institute of Logistics & Transport, delivered at Sheffield Hallam University. He is also a Visiting Professor of Logistics and Supply Chain Management at several overseas universities.
Prof Perera was graduated from the University of Moratuwa in Mechanical Engineering. He then proceeded to the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, to complete his doctoral programme.
